Basic facts about me
I'm Kyle. I started this journey years ago and have been a fitness enthusiast since high school. I'm combining my two top interests, fitness and nutrition and computer science. I have run a few (unofficial) half-marathons and I've been training toward longer races. I'm fairly strong and have solid calisthenics skills, and advice I plan on posting on @kyle.savorai on Instagram. I'll get around to it.
I built SavorAI's food recognition pipeline and compiled the nutrition database for use with it. My friend Joseph designed and built nearly the entirety of the app himself while I worked on the back-end and how everything worked. I spent months researching AI food recognition and the best path forward for this app, which in its form today I'm extremely proud of.
What I write about
Traditionally, I would always write short stories, poetry, or other works of fiction. I'd write an article on occasion, but I've never committed to a full blog until now.
On this blog, I write about tracking accuracy, training nutrition, micronutrients, and habits, lifestyle, and mindset.
I am not a medical professional. I write about medical-adjacent topics, but I am not a doctor or dietitian. I have a lot of nutrition and training knowledge, but you should consult a medical professional for personalized advice.
